FTE Strengthens Its Team with Two New Additions

Forum Train Europe is excited to announce the latest additions to its team. Lukas Del Giudice has come on board as a Senior Project Manager, while Giuseppe Miccoli has joined as a trainee. These new appointments, succeeding Fabian Hunkeler and Thomas Raney, underscore FTE's commitment to maintaining its capabilities   and supporting its members.

Meet Lukas Del Giudice

Lukas Del Giudice, who assumed his position in September, comes with experience in the international railway business. He previously served as a funding manager at RNE, where he gained valuable insights into capacity management, a topic of significant relevance in the industry today.

In Lukas' own words, "After gaining invaluable experience at RNE, viewing the landscape from the perspective of Infrastructure Managers, this is a fantastic opportunity to immerse myself in supporting the needs of the Railway Undertakings. I firmly believe that close collaboration is more vital than ever, especially with the opportunities presented by a new capacity regulation."

Welcome Back Giuseppe Miccoli

Giuseppe Miccoli is no stranger to FTE, having initially collaborated with FTE in January while working on his master's thesis on the integration of Service Facilities into the rail capacity management processes (you can find more on the topic here). Giuseppe has chosen to continue the research on this topic and uses the opportunity to stay with us to gain further experience and expand his network within the sector.

His voices: “Writing my thesis in collaboration with FTE was very inspiring for me. I undertook some business trips that allowed me to be in a truly international railway environment, enabling me to expand my network of contacts in the railway industry. Therefore, I had no doubts about continuing my FTE experience with my internship after graduation.”

As FTE embraces Lukas and Giuseppe, we eagerly anticipate the fresh perspectives and synergies they will bring to our team. Their expertise and dedication perfectly align with our mission to foster collaboration and innovation within the railway industry.

Edgar Schenk, Managing Director at FTE, expressed enthusiasm about the new additions, stating, "FTE welcomes Lukas and Giuseppe and is looking forward to the collaboration."
