Last year has (once again) been very turbulent, as we are all aware. Nonetheless, we have been able to welcome 2 new member companies in our association, namely DB Cargo Belgium and Crossrail Benelux NV. Both companies are located in Belgium.
DB Cargo Belgium provides mainly services from Belgian ports and inland temrinals.
Crossrail Benelux NV is a subsiadiary of BLS Cargo AG and provide mainly traction services on the Belgium-Germany-Switzerland-Italy corridor.
With these two new members, and all existing members we are looking forward to 2022, where Forum Train Europe FTE will celebrate it's 150th anniversary of TimetablingEurope, at the same time as also celebrating 100 years of having the timetable conference hosted at SBB CFF FFS, and 25 years as an association in its own right. Additionally, in Switzerland we will also be able to celebrate 175 years since the opening of the first railway line, the Spanisch-Brötli Bahn (pictured) between Stadt Baden and Stadt Zürich.
