With first Capacity Management steps as defined in the TTR programme now being brought to life and with the extensive legal framework by the European Commission being published as draft, RNE and FTE took the opportunity to clearer define some desired elements in the Advance Capacity Management process:
- the market involvement,
- bindingness of deliverables and
- flexibility in safeguarding, especially of Rolling Planning,
To achieve this, the RNE Managing Board and RNE Capacity Management Team took a first step into this deep dive together with the FTE Executive Board and experts. We are happy to announce that both associations’ managements agreed on a basic framework for this important development in the form of the "Common RNE-FTE Management Understanding on Market Input to Advance Capacity Planning", which was approved by both RNE Managing Board and FTE Executive Board.
This document provides Capacity Management experts and other stakeholders a first insight into this development and an outlook on the items to be tackled. The document was recently published simultaneously by RNE and FTE.
You can find the Common Understanging under this link.
