Coordination Conferences for Passenger Traffic
FTE provides its members a coordination platform for the international harmonisation of timetable and production planning in the cross-border passenger traffic.
The coordination conference FTE A (preparation of path study requests) takes place in January and FTE B (finalisation of path requests) at the end of March / beginning of April.
The conference FTE C scheduled in the month of July includes the following activities:
- Fine-tuning of the deployment of coaches/wagons EWP
- Validation of the Draft Timetable (Path Offer) and phrasing of observations
- Preparation and harmonisation of «Late Path Requests»
- Consultation of measures regarding construction works with international impact
EWP Transfer Conference
The EWP transfer conference deals with the final deployment of the coaches/wagons in the transition of the annual timetable change. The meeting is held each October.

The coordination conference FTE B (finalisation of path requests) takes place at the end of March / beginning of April and at FTE D (validation of the Draft Timetable (Path Offer) and phrasing of observations) in the beginning of July.
